Restoration

Restoration of stone is the restoring of worn stone– marble, travertine, granite, etc. It may also entail the altering of the stone's surface to match a desired finish

Polishing

Polishing is a lapidary process whereby rough stone is polished and smoothed using machines to produce shine to stones. Stone surfaces dull with wear after time. If you want a shiny surface, polishing your stone can improve it’s beautiful appearance. We improve your stones clarity to keep it looking brand new. 

 

Diamond sanding

Diamond sanding can be continued to a very fine grade until a polished finish is achieved. These final grades reduce scratches which are not even visible to the human eye allowing the natural crystals on the surface to reflect light more effectively. This is an extremely skilled task which requires patience and experience. If individual scratches are not removed effectively in the early stages then the finer grades will only serve to magnify them. Our diamond pads are used only on natural stone, they have diamonds embedded in them to act as a fine abrasive. 

 

Honing 

To create a honed surface means to leave it smooth and flat with a matte finish. This is achieved in a number of different ways. A stone which is being diamond grind will eventually show a honed finish as the medium resin grades of diamond are used. At this stage a honing process will enhance the smoothness of the surface. The honing process will remove ring marks on a table or counter left behind by a glass or mug. Some limestone will not polish and so grinding it with very fine diamonds will produce an ultra honed surface.

It's worth knowing that the concept of honing stone has been around for generations and any process of using an abrasive to smooth stone can be described as honing.

 

Sealing

Repairing and sealing your surfaces is worth every investment. Using sealing techniques we can help your surfaces will look new again. If you want to protect interior or exterior stones, we offer a few sealers to protect your stone.

 

Perimeter re-grout / re-caulk

Discolored and dull grout/caulk can make your stone look old. Keep your tiles and stone work fresh and clean by using our perimeter re-grouting / perimeter re-caulk and sealing service.

 

Tile and Grout Cleaning

Our company’s residential tile & grout services will can help with your tile and grout cleaning problems. Our professional team uses high-powered, professional-grade equipment to scrub through the grime. Our technicians work with hot water and environmentally friendly solutions. These loosen the dirt in the grout crevices and wash away residues on the tile and grout surfaces.

After the scrubbing tile and grout surfaces, we use a vacuum with a high-powered rinsing cycle to finish the job, leaving the tiles and grout lines clean.

Epoxy Repair

Epoxy is a hardening substance used as a space-filling adhesive. It is stored until use as two components of clay-like consistency. We use epoxy to repair chips, holes cracks on countertops to floors on all natural stone. We offer many colors and can color match your stone.
